Canonical page: https://maddenexporter.com/how-to-export Product: Madden Exporter (https://maddenexporter.com) Support: jbirdwell34@gmail.com Madden Exporter is an independent fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Electronic Arts, EA Sports, or the NFL. ## What you need - A Madden NFL franchise on console or PC - The official Madden NFL Companion app on [iOS](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/madden-nfl-27-companion/id1422882838) or [Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ea.gp.madden19companionapp&hl=en_US) - The EA account that can open that franchise - A free [Madden Exporter account](/signup) and a username ## Step-by-step 1. Create a free Madden Exporter account and choose a username. 2. Download the Madden NFL Companion app and sign in with your EA account. 3. In Madden Exporter, open View Data and copy your personal export URL. The URL includes your username. 4. In the Companion app, open the franchise you want to export. 5. Open the Export tab and paste the URL. Do not retype it. 6. Choose the data categories you want (rosters, stats, schedules, and related tables) and start the export. 7. Wait for the Companion app to finish. Roster exports can keep working after the app first says it is done. 8. Return to Madden Exporter, refresh View Data, and download CSV, JSON, or Excel files. The [home page](/) has a shorter three-step overview. This page is the full Companion app walkthrough. ## What you can download Madden Exporter turns the Companion export into files you can keep: rosters, team and player stats, schedules, and related league tables. Use CSV or Excel in Google Sheets and spreadsheet tools. Use JSON if you are building a custom league site or script. Free accounts can export league data through this workflow. Pro is a one-time $5 purchase and adds free agent exports. ## This is for files, not a hosted league site Some league-hosting sites give you a different export URL so they can power their own website. Use that URL only if you want their site to receive the league. Use [Madden Exporter](/) when you want the data itself—your own CSV, JSON, or Excel downloads for analysis, backups, power rankings, or tools you control. ## If the export does not show up - Confirm the Companion URL matches the username on the account you are signed into - Export from the correct franchise and week if the app asks for a week - Wait a minute and refresh View Data; large roster exports take time - Use the same Madden Exporter account you used when you copied the URL More fixes are in the [FAQ](/faq). If it still fails, [contact support](/contact) with your username and platform. ## Numbered export steps 1. Create a Madden Exporter account — Sign up at maddenexporter.com and choose a username.
